Dear Friends,

During this time of uncertainty, some parishioners have been asking about ways to donate to St. David's. This thoughtful concern is much appreciated as the interruption of regular services has severely impacted parish finances. You can provide continued support by sending donations in a number of ways:

  1. by regular mail / mail slot drop-off,
  2. by e-Transfer through your bank's mobile app/website, or
  3. by completing a form to schedule pre-authorized debits from your bank account.

Option 1: Giving by Regular Mail / Mail Slot Drop-off

If you choose to send cheques, please write your offering envelope number (if you have one) in the cheque memo space (to assist with the issuing of tax credits) and mail to:

  • St. David's Anglican Church, 369 Thorold Road West, Welland, ON L3C 3W4

Alternatively, envelopes containing cheques can be placed in the mail slot at the church's Thorold Road front entrance.

Option 2: Giving by e-Transfer

If you prefer to send your offerings electronically, please direct your e-Transfers to "St. David's Anglican Church" via STDAVIDSOFFERING@GMAIL.COM and include your offering envelope number (if you have one) in the e-Transfer note field (to assist with the issuing tax credits). Note: St. David's is registered for Autodeposit, so there is no need to inform us of the answer to a security question should your bank app/site prompt you to create one.

Option 3: Giving by Scheduled Pre-Authorized Debits

Pre-Authorized Debit allows you to give directly to the church by scheduling automatic donations from your bank account. You can authorize these regular donations by completing this downloadable form (click here) and sending it to the church via regular mail (see mailing address listed on the form) or by placing it in the mail slot at the church's Thorold Road front entrance.

Thank you for continuing to contribute financially during this challenging time. Your offerings will be used to help sustain the church and support the wonderful work that we do.

Dear Friends

Bishop Susan Bell on the advice of the Provincial Metropolitan has decided to temporarily suspend all Sunday worship services effective Sunday March 15th. The decision comes often the W.H.O declared COVID -19 to be a global pandemic and cases have now been confirmed within the diocese’s boundaries.

Furthermore all parish meetings, programs, and gatherings have also been suspended including tomorrow’s vestry meeting. Please note that on Sunday Bishop Susan will lead a live-streamed time of prayer beginning at 10:00 am on the Diocesan Facebook page. Once a decision is made to resume worship services and parish activities posts will be made on our parish Facebook page and website.

May God bless you and keep you well. You are all in my prayers.

Fr. Terry
