Groups & Activities

Altar Guild

As we gather each Sunday to worship God, these volunteers prepare the church for Sunday worship and special services, and clean up afterwards. They also ensure that the silver is kept polished, amongst other things. The Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive is organized by this group. 

Anglican Church Women (ACW)

Our ACW faithfully serves our church and the wider community. In addition to planning fundraising activities  this group  look after our funeral teas and plan for and serve at other events particularly when food is provided. They organize various parish activities including our annual bazaar. Through their efforts they continue to support Sleeping Children Around the World on a yearly basis. Monthly meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m.

Bible Study

St. David's Anglican Church is committed to helping others grow in their faith and spirituality. From September to May each year Fr. Terry invites you to participate in an interactive group Bible study. This is an opportunity for you to discuss scripture with others in a way that opens up your mind and heart to the power of Christ in your life. Join us to experience fellowship and fun as we explore the Bible together. Please contact the church office for upcoming dates and times.

Book Club

The Book Club meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM to discuss various novels and works of nonfiction. All are welcome.

Children and Family Events

St. David’s is a dynamic community which offers many opportunities to gather and enjoy in Christian fellowship with our children.  Special Events and activities occur throughout the year including:

Choir

Our choir members under the direction of our music director sing both traditional and contemporary hymns during the 10:00 a.m. Sunday service.  Enthusiastic volunteers who love to sing are always welcome.

Dinner Outing

Once a month,  on  Friday evenings, members of the congregation and friends gather together to share a meal and fellowship together. Each month the group tries a different restaurant within the Niagara Region. Fun is had by all.

Gardening Group

During the growing season, a number of volunteers come out to the church to attend to our gardens. The only requirement is that you want to have fun.  

Stream Team

Are you a bit tech savvy? Interested in a taste of live production broadcasting? Consider joining our "Stream Team" to help with the livestreaming of our 10 am worship service each Sunday. Training is fun and interesting! We work in pairs at the AV desk to make it a comfortable experience.
